Writing Coaching

Novels, Memoirs, Biographies, Children's, Self Help, Business

Do you have a fabulous book idea but no idea where to start? Or do you fall victim to procrastination? Usually, beginner writers fall prey to both and then, as they progress, a sense of unease begins to mount. Is it any good? Will their eventual readers get what they’re trying to say? Or are they pouring hours of their life and thousand of words into something that will end up in an agent’s slush pile? As a writing coach, I like to guide writers through this process, whether they’re a first time author or a seasoned writer. Writing books is hard, made harder still by the amount of time it takes to complete the finished draft. As a writing coach I guide, set exercises, incentivise, critique and ensure that desired timelines are adhered to. I encourage good writerly practises that will see a writer through many a book, if applied consistently. I work with writers over a 6 week, 3, 6 or 12 month period on both fiction and non-fiction, always with an eye on the finish goal: a book that fills you with a sense of deep satisfaction.
